Why does the evidence menu edit my search string?
So nothing is hidden. Choosing "Clinical trials only" appends the matching PubMed publication-type text to the box, and you can edit or delete it before running.
What does the coverage line tell me?
How many records matched, how many were summarised, and the year span covered — the honest edges of the snapshot.
Can I widen a search after seeing the result?
Yes. Change the year, the count or the evidence type on the Search tab and run again; your previous words stay in the box.
